Received multiples awards by the Ophthalmic Scientific community, including the 2014 "Best of Show Award", by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the 2017 Grand Prize Award, by the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In 2015 received the prestigious Innovator of the Year Award, by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT.

 

The intraocular implant, manufactured in Germany, reached the market in 2016, and has been used by Ophthalmologists around the world, restoring vision and impacting the lives of many patients.
